Monday, August 24, 2026 is a Student Transition Day only for some students (family calendar: grades K, 1, 6 and 9 and students new to MCPS; list-view calendar: students entering grades K, 6 and 9, grade 3 in schools serving only grades 3-5, and students new to a school or MCPS); August 25 is the first day for all grades.
